Message on reverse:  4am, Thursday My own darling, Last night I received your dear letter of Friday last and enjoyed reading it very much love. Am glad you think the photo good Dear tho' of course I may not agree with you when I see it. I will try and decide about yours by my next letter. Yesterday was a lovely cold day and sunny. We played football all morning and then I slept till 9.0pm, but at present feel awfully sleepy, and I wish...... but you know dont you.
