Message on reverse:  My Darling, Many thanks for your dear long letter of Monday. The weather is foggy and cold now but the water feels lovely and warm - have just come back from a good swim. Have only two more teeth to do now dear which will be finished in about a week. Hope I shall be back for the wedding but afraid it will be impossible. Letter in day or two.
